Description

Counterflow wall furnaces heat larger areas and use a minimum amount of floor space. Heat comes out at floor level so you get even distribution of warmth throughout the room. Choose between standing pilot or electronic ignition models. Optional side register outlet allows heat to disperse from side of furnace cabinet. Empire wall furnaces offer the highest-quality craftsmanship combined with superior function. The furnace can be easily installed on an outside wall and can be recessed between the home's studs. With a variety of sizes available, you can easily find an Empire wall furnace to fit your space's needs. This model includes a 24-volt electronic thermostat and counterflow blower. Best of all, the automatic shutoff makes the furnace safe for your family and your home.

About UpVent

UpVent Heaters vent from the top of the heater and can be vented directly through the roof, vertically through a wall or even connect into an existing flue system. UpVent Heaters are designed for installation on inside or outer perimeter walls.

About Gravity Heat Process

Gravity gas furnaces move heated air upwards thru the heater by gravity. Gravity moves the heated air upward and heat exits the heater at all levels of the heater.

Standing Pilt vs Electronic Ignition

Standing Pilot (SPP) - The gas pilot is lit manually by match. When the thermostat calls for heat, the pilot ignites the burner. The pilot stays lit when heater is not being used.

Electronic Ignition (IP) - The gas pilot is lit automatically by the electronic ignition. When the thermostat calls for heat, the electronic ignition is engages and the pilot is lit. The pilot does not stay lit when the heater is not being used.
